This is undoubtably the image of the year so far. Former Prince Andrew being released from a police station, after spending a day being arrested.
Earlier today, unmarked police vehicles have again been arriving at Royal Lodge to continue a search at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s former home. He was released under investigation last night after being arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Mountbatten-Windsor was pictured returning to Sandringham Estate – where he now lives – last night and as this picture would imply, he looks like he now has the weight of the world on him.
The King, who was not told of the arrest in advance, released a statement saying “the law must take its course” – the Prince and Princess of Wales are understood to support his remarks.
