Blantyre Telegraph is 15 years old this year! Volunteer led for non profit, it exists to help raise money for good causes within the Blantyre Community. We have audiences now on par with regional media outlets and strive for accuracy, keeping things friendly and fun and of course , informative. In terms of effort, several hours a day is spent behind the scenes in Telegraph. Every Day. Every Week. Every Year. For no reward or wage.
Since the pandemic and end of offline publications, the ONLY way we can financially support Blantyre good causes now…… is from any revenue generated by our fantastic Facebook Supporters Group.
Without the Supporters Group, Telegraph wouldnt be able to continue. We rely wholly on those kind individuals and businesses subscribed for only £2.79 a month to get loads of extra news for themselves AND this money is given back entirely to the community.
We need your support. There’s SO much we can do and with over 31,000 readers on this page, theres an astonishing potential to help so many organisations and individuals who could do with a boost.
