Greenhall Wall Repairs

The Greenhall Park wall in South Lanarkshire has been damaged for a while, leading to an emergency footpath closure on March 26. Its repair is overdue, as it is a prominent feature for visitors entering the town from the East. The community urges the council to allocate funds for its restoration this Summer.

Blantyreferme Roundabout Update

The Blantyreferme roadworks are nearing completion, with a new roundabout at Blantyre Farm and Calder Road shaping up. Expected to finish by 20th July, the road will reopen, though a 4-day overnight closure is planned for anti-skid surfacing on 11th August. Landscaping and lighting are also in progress.
