Local man Jim Hanlan passed away at the age of 80 on April 10th. His funeral is scheduled for April 23rd at 3pm at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, High Blantyre. John Anderson’s funeral will take place on Friday, April 24th, at 1pm at Blantyre Old Parish Church, followed by burial at High Blantyre Cemetery at 2pm. The family requests no flowers, instead asking for donations to the British Heart Foundation. The cortège departs from Wheatlands Avenue at 12:30.
