Councillors have approved plans for a new neighbourhood hall and retail development in Newton under submission P/25/0988. Identity Appeal at Newton

Police have issued an appeal for help in identifying an unknown man who died at Newton train station. Emergency services were called to the station, near Cambuslang on Sunday 16th June around 6.45pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
