The David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre has been awarded a prestigious certificate of excellence from ratings website , Trip Advisor.
It is one of four attractions in Central Belt that have been recognised by visitors as being a top tourist destination. David Livingstone Centre was praised particularly for its “welcoming staff”.
National Trust assistant director Keith Halstead said TripAdvisor was a “fantastic tool for us as an organisation.” Well done to the centre and a special well done to the caring and dedicated staff.
The David Livingstone Centre Museum is due for a renovation closing in September this year for 2 years, but Blantyre Telegraph has learned that the cafe, shop and grounds will remain open during that time, paving the way for further summer galas.
