Local man, Alan McVey was laid to rest in High Blantyre earlier today.
Alan (37) sadly died, after becoming ill whilst on holiday in Mexico in July. It’s the second tragedy to hit the family after Alan’s brother Gordon jnr, 23, died in 2003 of heart condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
A light may have gone out, but Alan McVey will always be remembered. His fun loving nature, popularity and friendliness will be missed by many people.
