Day 7 of 21: Community Food Parcels

Kindness of Local Businesses

We’re seeing so many examples of local businesses setting aside their hardships to get involved in helping our community.

From amazing foodbanks at Nazarene Hall and Terminal One delivering out food packages to those most in need, to examples of businesses preparing meals and food packages to those either in isolation, the vulnerable , infirm or simply those struggling to get to shops.

There’s a REAL need for this in all areas. Mr Chef, the takeaway in Uddingston in owned by Wasim Arshad, a Blantyre man and they’ve gone above and beyond to this cause. As the photos show, they’ve been prepaing free meals and packing up food parcels, sending them out to the community over the last week! Such wonderful kindness and warmly appreciated by everybody receiving this.
