Gardeners will be pleased to hear that rain is expected tomorrow, Saturday 30th April 2022.
This last month has been one of the driest Aprils on record and some plants, vegetables and lawns have been struggling from lack of water. Rivers and reservoirs are low.
Today sees the end of high pressure over the UK as a low pressure front approaches from the west bringing rain to central Scotland by midday on Saturday. It will be heavy at times, but should clear again by Sunday morning.
Some more settled weather, (though cloudy) is expected next week. Temperatures will remain around normal for the time of year. Have a good weekend everybody!
