‘Sugar Grocery’, the new convenience store on Main Street, High Blantyre, opens this Wednesday, 3rd April 2024.
Our Supporters Group were given a sneak preview earlier this week, but we’ve now got many more photos of the interior, posted here with permission.
The former ‘McLeans Newsagents’ shop located at 274 Main Street is now called ‘Sugar Grocery’ and has been given an entire new renovation inside and out, with some prominent signage. Inside is a wide variety of goods including snacks, drinks, sweets, toiletries, cleaning products, vapes, tech accessories, toys and more. There’s plenty of parking nearby.
This shop sat empty for rather a long time before this modern, colourful fitout, so we’re please to see a new shop open its shutters once again. Here’s wishing the owners the very best.
