A little reminder for this Thursday’s Halloween. Your idea of Halloween fun might not be someone else’s. It’s generally a good idea to avoid calling at people’s houses when trick-or-treating if you aren’t sure they’d like to join in with Halloween.
As a rule of thumb, if they’ve got decorations outside their house or in the window then they’ll probably be open to trick-or-treaters.
Some people can be distressed by strangers knocking on their door or embarrassed if they have nothing to give. Be considerate of others and, if in doubt, good practice is to stick to the houses of people you know. Have fun out guising this week, stay together and be safe!
