The cold weather is here. It can be very tempting to leave your vehicle engine running and unattended while the windows defrost. Police Scotland have issued a reminder:
“Don’t ever leave your car unattended with keys in it, as opportunist thieves could steal it within seconds. Many insurers will not pay for claims should a vehicle be stolen in this way, even if it is in your driveway.”
If the keys are in the car – you should be too!
