Winds will strengthen overnight as a band of rain approaches from the south-west. The rain will be initially light but will gradually become steadier by the early hours, often heavy near dawn.
Overcast and windy for Tuesday tomorrow morning with outbreaks of heavy rain. In the afternoon, the rain will clear to numerous scattered showers for the rest of the day, many often turning heavy.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
Brisk westerly winds on Wednesday will bring plenty of cloud and showers during the morning. The showers will later ease to leave sunshine for the afternoon and evening. Breezy on Thursday with plenty of cloud and spells of light rain, particularly in the first half of the day. Cloudy with occasional showers on Friday. Temperatures in the high teens to low twenties by Friday.
