It puzzled many people in Blantyre, Cambuslang, Hamilton, East Kilbride and Strathaven…..Did you see the spectacular line of lights travelling across the sky last night?
The sight pictured was a Starlink satellite train, with another series of good viewing opportunities predicted over the next few evenings.
According to Find Starlink, the recently launched Starlink-412 (G17-50) group should be particularly bright and visible in this area again tonight and this week for around four minutes during each pass.

☁️ Of course, you’ll need the Scottish weather to cooperate! Find somewhere with a reasonably clear view of the sky and start looking a few minutes before the predicted time.
The satellites should appear as a line of bright dots moving steadily together across the night sky.
📸 Did you photograph them over Blantyre or elsewhere in Lanarkshire, we’d love to see your pictures!
