Hi, it’s been a few years now but is there any update on the restoration of the Herald Clock ?
Thanks
Hi Alison – Havent forgotten about this. Covid got in the way and the business who was making the face was liquidated. Then I got ill and ended up with a heart bypass. However, the remaining funding is still sitting there and though the external work has been done, an affordable alternative for the clock mechanism still has to be found. A further blow was the Livingstone Centre not wanting it back, so I’m unsure where it will end up. In the interests of transparency I’ll post soon about this as I could probably do with some external help. Paul V
