Hillhouse Road Flooded

Heavy rain has caused significant flooding on Hillhouse Road, obstructing the route to High Blantyre and affecting drivers and residents. This ongoing issue remains unresolved by South Lanarkshire Council, leaving many vehicles stranded and residents trapped in their homes. Urgent action from the Council is needed to address the problem.

Parking Suspended

Parking will be suspended for a week at Station Road and Park Lane, with cones marking off areas. Signage warns of vehicle removal for illegal parking. The council hasn’t listed any road closures, but temporary traffic orders may apply from 8am on July 10th to 8pm on July 16th. Community input is encouraged.
