St Blanes is seeking stall holders for its Primary School Christmas Fayre on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Stall fees are £20, with setup beginning around 2:15 PM. Interested parties can email stblanespc@outlook.com for more information or to reserve a stall.
Primary 1 registration starts on 5 January 2026 for children beginning school. Parents must have their child’s full birth certificate ready for the process. If a new copy is needed, order it by Friday, 5 December to ensure timely delivery.
Schools in South Lanarkshire will be closed tomorrow, Monday 10th November, for an in-service day. The next break will be the Christmas holiday, beginning at 2.30pm on Friday 19th December, when schools will close for the holiday season.
High Blantyre Primary celebrated its 150th Anniversary on October 25th with over 120 attendees, including current and former pupils and teachers. The event featured a history talk, performances, and guided tours by students. Photos depicting the school’s history were displayed, and future school shows were announced, showcasing student talents.
The October School break in Lanarkshire concludes soon. The next holiday is an in-service day on Monday, November 10th, when pupils will have a day off. Following this, the Christmas holiday starts with early dismissal at 2:30 PM on Friday, December 19th.
