Crossbasket is planning to convert the closed Crossbasket Nursery in High Blantyre into a spa. Andrew Pirrie’s funeral details are as follows: Receiving on Tuesday, 11th November at St Joseph’s RC Church at 6pm. The funeral mass is on Wednesday, 12th November at 10am, followed by cremation at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 11am. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
Hugh Sneddon, a well-known local man, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on 2nd November 2025 in Hairmyres Hospital, surrounded by family. His funeral service will be held on 21st November at 10am, with all who knew him invited to attend. Condolences are extended to his family.
