EV Charger Rollout over Region

Local Councils plan to invest £50m in over 3,000 electric vehicle charging points across the Glasgow region within five years. The project, covering areas like South Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire, will be funded largely by the private sector, supplemented by minor grants from Transport Scotland, avoiding direct council tax implications.
