A man has appeared in court charged with raping a teenage girl in woods near Bothwell castle.
A 25 year old male from Hamilton has been accused of attacking the teenager near Bothwell Castle in South Lanarkshire on May 20. He appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court earlier this morning, Wednesday 27 May 2020.
He made no plea and was released on bail, pending a further court appearance.
