St. John Ogilvie Pupil Shines at European Taekwon-Do Championships

Twelve-year-old Tyler Meechan from St. John Ogilvie High School recently excelled at the European Taekwon-Do Championships in Almere, Holland. Competing for Team Scotland ITF, she won two major titles: European Team Pattern Champion and European Sparring Vice-Champion, while also serving as the team’s Flag Bearer during the opening ceremony.

Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025

Lanarkshire is recognizing ‘Baby Loss Awareness Week’ from October 9th to 15th. Residents can honor lost babies by placing pink, blue, and white ribbons outside the council’s HQ in Hamilton.
