Former Celtic goalkeeper John Fallon, a key member of the 1967 European Cup-winning squad known as the Lisbon Lions, has passed away at 84. A respected figure in Blantyre, he also owned Fallons Bar on Glasgow Road. Our condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.
Blantyre Industrial Estate’s main road, Central Avenue, will be closed for two days on July 24th and 25th between First and Third Road. Traffic will be diverted via Central Avenue, First Road, West Avenue, and Third Road.
