The exciting construction of a brand new luxury spa, restaurant, hotel and entertainment venue takes another leap forward with the release of 3D rendered images of how the High Blantyre Project will look upon completion next year.
Crossbasket Estate is set to expand beyond the current 5 star hotel with the addition of a further new hotel with 40 new bedrooms, a destination restaurant, two five-bedroom eco-friendly lodges, and a first for Blantyre, a luxury spa! The spa will house four treatment rooms, heat experiences, relaxation areas, outdoor hydrotherapy pools, and its own designed Scottish-based product line.
Computer generated images have been released which show how the bedrooms, en-suites, reception area and restaurant will look when the works are complete.

The venue is set to have capacity for an additional 35,000 visitors each year and provide over 50 jobs for the local area, delivering a projected economic boost for the immediate area.
Steve and Alison Timoney, who are behind the expansion, describe the revamp as a “no expense spared passion project” adding that the hotel will leave their guests in awe.
Alison said: “The interiors will be lavish but welcoming and luxury will be found in the materials, as well as bespoke, upholstered furniture in classic styles with plenty of cosy corners for private, more intimate moments with friends and loved ones.”

The expansion is set to put Blantyre further on the map. The stunning images reveal the stunning restaurant, which aims to seat 100 covers, along with a bar and snug areas. For those who simply like a night out with friends and family, there’s also a stage for guests to enjoy incredible live music and entertainment seven nights a week.

With construction of the superstructure now underway, Graeme Green, managing director of adjacent Crossbasket Castle, believes the new hotel has the capacity to draw people in from across the world.
“The standards of the owners have led to something truly exceptional and unique. It gives a stylish nod to the 1920’s and plays on some of the key features of the exquisite and tranquil landscape in a way that will really capture people’s imagination.
“The whole project is moving forward at pace, and we are very excited about opening our doors next year.”
The new development is set to open to the public in summer of 2024.
