Planning proposals have been submitted to South Lanarkshire Council to change the former Matt’s Bar on High Blantyre’s Main Street, into 4 new shops.
The proposals validated last week have been put forward to amend the front of the building to create 4 smaller retail units, one of which is understood to potentially be a new grocery store. A planning decision still has to be made.
The plans also include a dedicated car park area to the side of the building enough to accommodate 10 vehicles off the road.
